Education support personnel at Brockton Public Schools deserve a living wage and a fair contract! Educational support professionals in the district currently make $16.90 per hour as a starting wage which amounts to an approximate annual salary of $20,808. Wages are capped at $24.48 per hour after 20 years of service. The current pay scale is grossly insufficient in delivering on the most basic needs for these Brockton educators. Many call Brockton home while the overwhelming majority work second or third jobs to survive. Brockton educators shouldn’t be struggling and it’s time that Brockton Public schools support them!
