The University of Warwick has refused to waive rent or cancel accommodation contracts for students renting off-campus accommodation. Due to the unprecedented circumstances caused by the global pandemic, many students are unable to pay or reside in their off-campus accommodation, yet they are still being forced to produce this money. If other universities have been compassionate enough to waive rent for these students, why can't Warwick do the same?
