#CloseFatahFB - Demand that Facebook Shut Down the Fatah-Facebook Terror Promotion Partnership.

We urgently need your help in the fight against terrorism. Fatah is using Facebook to incite hatred and violence and glorify terror, and Facebook is doing nothing to stop it. Please join us in our campaign to get Facebook to shut down Fatah’s Facebook page. Send a letter now to Brian Fishman, Facebook's director of terrorism policy,  to stop the proliferation of terrorism on the platform!

Fatah regularly posts items on its Facebook page that glorify terrorists, praise terror attacks, and incite hatred and violence. For example, Fatah used Facebook to present the murderer of a father of 12 earlier this year as “the perfect person”, and the killer of two young parents was praised: “Eternity and glory to you.”

(PMW’s full report on Fatah’s abuse of Facebook in 2018 can be found here, and the report for the first half of 2019 here.)

This campaign is not about punishing Fatah but is about saving lives. Social media today is primary tool used by terror organizations, and the most significant tool being used by Fatah to promote terrorism and turn terrorists and murderers into role models, is Facebook.

Despite the unequivocal evidence provided to Facebook in the past, all showing that Fatah’s terror mission violates Facebook's own Community Standards, Facebook continues to supply Fatah with a platform to promote terror.

Yet another report has come out documenting Fatah’s posts during the first quarter of 2019. The documentation that Fatah continues to use Facebook to promote its terror mission is clear. Fatah’s mission for years includes violence and terror and under Facebook rules it must be closed down. Yet, Facebook does nothing.

The only way to get Facebook to take action and save lives is to work together. There is strength in numbers, especially when it comes to social media.

Facebook’s indifference to Fatah’s terror mission cannot go on. The more people that join this call to action, the more pressure Facebook will feel to shut down Fatah’s Facebook page. We can make this happen by working together.
