This letter urges CUNY Chancellor James B. Milliken to make a decent economic offer to the PSC immediately. Every day that he fails to make an acceptable offer is a day that damages the quality of education at CUNY. We cannot go on producing high-quality work when our salaries are eroding and our working conditions are becoming unbearable. The future of a half-million CUNY students and of the University is at stake.
