Help Us Build Our Network of Child Care Champions in Massachusetts!
In her inaugural address on the day of her swearing in, Gov. Maura Healey made a bold commitment for child care in the Commonwealth: "Let’s finally pass legislation in line with Common Start to make sure every family pays what they can afford, and that care workers are paid what they deserve. This is something our families, workers and businesses all agree on.”
With a new Governor, over 20 newly elected members of the Massachusetts House of Representatives and six new State Senators this year, now is the time to recruit legislators to be the Child Care Champions we need to lead on this issue in the Legislature and stand with us in the fight for child care change. Policy change that makes a real, meaningful difference for all can’t happen without the voice of the people — which is why we need you to unleash the power of your stories, so that our legislators truly understand the changes we demand — and know what it will take for them to be Child Care Champions in 2023.
Here’s how you can take just 5 minutes, right now, to help: Email the following letter to each of your legislators in the MA House and Senate and our new Governor. Use our helpful template to get started!
