Contact your state lawmakers about the ROE Act.

Everyone deserves safe, affordable and accessible health care. But here in Massachusetts, people seeking abortion are forced to jump through medically unnecessary hoops to access care. The right to safe, legal abortion isn't a reality for everyone. The ROE Act can change that, but only if we act now.

The deadline to report the ROE Act favorably out of committee has been extended to November 12. We're keeping the pressure on because we need to pass the ROE Act this year to move closer to guaranteeing true reproductive freedom for everyone in Massachusetts.

Here in Massachusetts, barriers still exist: young people seeking abortion are forced to go to court to plead their case to a judge, and families who receive a lethal fetal diagnosis later in pregnancy must travel across the country for abortion care. These obstacles make abortion care all but unobtainable for many young people, people of color, and people with low incomes. Now more than ever, our state must ensure safe and legal abortion is truly accessible for all. Massachusetts needs the ROE Act.

People, not politicians, need to control their bodies. Our state lawmakers have an opportunity to stand up for our health and rights. Fill out this form to send messages to your state representative and state senator to urge them to pass the ROE Act.
