Urge Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo to Oppose PVSC Gas Plant and Support Renewable Alternative!

Despite Governor Murphy’s environmental justice promises and clean energy commitments and nearly two full years of resident-led opposition to the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission’s proposal for a new gas plant in Newark’s Ironbound, PVSC is still seeking to move ahead on this project!

Please send Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo a message and urge him to stand with Newark residents, the dozen municipalities including Newark that have passed resolutions against the project, the 29th Legislative Delegation who represent the Ironbound, and 20 other legislators who have come out in opposition to the gas plant in favor of a renewable energy solution.
