COVID-19 is worsening crises caused by a system that puts profits over people. Many of our friends and neighbors have been laid off and have no chance of making rent on April 1st.

Join us in demanding Governor Jay Inslee take the following immediate actions to guarantee housing security.

• A freeze on rents, a moratorium on evictions for at least 6 months that includes both residential and commercial properties, and a ban on late rent fees.

• Rent forgiveness for renters, commercial rent relief for small businesses.

• Use eminent domain to take uninhabited rental property into public ownership to provide additional housing for our neighbors experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.
