OCSEA and your dental benefits administrator, Union Benefits Trust (UBT), adamantly oppose proposed legislation by the Ohio Senate that prevents dental insurance providers, like Delta Dental, from negotiating lower fees for non-covered services for their members. Proposed Ohio Senate Bill 148, if passed, would give dentists the wherewithal to charge members more money for non-covered services. This directly impacts OCSEA members who utilize UBT, as well as ALL Ohioans with dental insurance.

Ohio Senate Bill 148 is expected to reach the Ohio Senate floor in the coming days. Your action is needed! OCSEA members, as well as anyone they know with dental insurance, are urged to write their Ohio Senator today and tell them to VOTE NO!
