End the Iraq War Authorization for the Use of Military Force.

In January, five House Democrats called on President Biden “to quickly work with Congress to end the 2002 authorization for the Iraq War and hone the 2001 powers for the war on terrorism.” While executive action to address endless wars is welcome, we also know that congressional action is needed to repeal the Authorizations for Use of Military Force (AUMF).

Please help build co-sponsorship of Rep. Barbara Lee’s (CA-13)

H.R. 256 to repeal the 2002 Iraq AUMF. There is leadership in the relevant committees who are supportive of this bill, but that is not enough. The more co-sponsors that we get, the more likely it is that this bill actually moves.

NH Representatives Pappas & Kuster have NOT yet agreed to co-sponsor. They’ve told us that they have not heard from their constituents on this issue so aren’t convinced people in NH care about it. Let’s show them we do!
