We still need eviction protections - tell Gov. Inslee to extend the bridge!

The New York Times

As the delta variant of Covid-19 rages across Washington State and federal unemployment assistance that kept many families and individuals afloat vanishes, Washington's eviction protections for vulnerable renters are set to expire on Sept 30th unless Gov. Inslee takes immediate action to extend his "bridge proclamation". Tenants throughout Washington currently face extreme barriers and bureaucracy when attempting to access rental assistance. Meanwhile, landlords continue to evict and use loopholes to push people into housing instability and homelessness. We need need Gov. Inslee to protect renters and Washingtonians during the entirety of this public health emergency - an emergency that is unfortunately far from over - by extending eviction protections through January 31, 2022.
