Feed all students

In April 2023, Representative Sherae’a Moore introduced House Bill 125, which would provide all students with breakfast and lunch at no charge.

In September 2023, the United States Department of Agriculture announced changes to Community Eligibility Provision, which helps ensure schools serving low-income students can provide free meals. These changes give school districts more flexibility to provide free meals and could lower the cost for states. Now is the time to take advantage of these changes and enact free school meals for all students.

We're asking Governor Carney to include universal free school meals in the 2025 Fiscal Year Governor’s Recommended Budget.
