The Northampton Association of School Employees is once again engaged in a fight for the future of our Northampton Public Schools and our city's children. Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra is insisting that Superintendent Portia Bonner slash millions – the current proposal includes $1.6 million – from our schools, laying-off staff, increasing class sizes, and eliminating support services for our children at every level.

Please urge the members of the Northampton City Council and the School Committee, the mayor and the superintendent to allocate the necessary funding for level services to our schools in the 25-26 school year.
