Two years after the Ohio State University Hillel disaffiliated it’s LGBTQ Jewish group, another Hillel has dropped support for its queer Jewish student organization. Upon learning that “Nice Jewish Queers” was co-planning and co-sponsoring its Passover Drag Show with University of Southern California’s Queer and Ally student assembly and USC’s Jewish Voice for Peace Chapter, USC Hillel forced NJQ to stop referring to itself as a Hillel-affiliated organization. Now, Hillel is trying to affirm its conditional support for NJQ by re-affiliating with the group.

As long as USC Hillel abides by Hillel International’s Standards of Partnership, it will continue to exclude LGBTQ Jewish students. Tell Hillel International to renounce the Standards and support all LGBTQ Jewish students today.
