I don't want ten people to die every day in Texas

Texas leads the nation in traffic deaths with ten people dying in our transportation system every day.

We need to come together and take responsibility for this crisis. We need to work across the state, across jurisdictions, and across ideologies and professions to end the epidemic of traffic violence.

We need SCR 42.

Texas Senator Sylvia Garcia has proposed SCR 42, a resolution calling for the Texas Department of Transportation to focus on a goal of zero fatalities. The Senate Committee on Transportation unanimously sent this bill to the full Senate and we may get a vote this week.

Please contact your Texas State Senator today and tell them that you don't want ten people to die every day in the Texas transportation system.
