The battle for the soul of the Democratic party is on! And we have a small window in which to influence the direction of that debate at the national level. Over the next 3 weeks The Democratic National Committee (DNC) will be engaged in a contest to elect a new party Chair. Will the next chair understand that we need campaigns and party leaders ready to fight for the progressive values of Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal coalition? Will the next chair be ready to fight the “Oligarchs”?
