At Seattle Subway, we are very concerned that Sound Transit may cut corners where it hurts riders the most, without saving much money. These shortsighted choices will make the ridership experience worse, and prevent many riders from switching to transit. They also risk making future expansion to high-demand areas impossibly complex and expensive.

This is a critical moment and we’re still hopeful that Sound Transit can rise to the challenge and design a system that lives up to the promise of ST3.
