Please contact Superintendent Binienda and Worcester School Committee members to express your support for safe transportation conditions for Worcester students, their families, and Worcester Public Schools bus drivers and monitors. Although most educators that work in the school buildings have been given the choice to work remotely, our bus drivers and monitors are being called back to transport private school students and students from the Central Massachusetts Collaborative. While the district has acknowledged some of our concerns, we continue to be concerned that the district is not fully considering the immense risk transportation poses to students, their families, bus drivers, and bus monitors.

To keep our students and families safe, WPS bus drivers and bus monitors deserve:

1. Six feet of physical distance on every bus

2. A bus monitor on every bus

3. Hazard pay

4. Mask and shield compliance with DESE guidelines
