Let Labour Conference debate public ownership in the Green New Deal!

Labour's Conference Arrangements Committee has ruled Labour for a Green New Deal's motion out of order because 'it covers more than one subject area'.

Last year we appealed the same decision and won. They've set a precedent to include motion's of this scope and now they're going back on it to shut down debate.

The motion calls for public ownership as a key plank of Labour's Green New Deal - every element of the text relates to this demand.

This is a bureaucratic manoeuvre to silence members and undermine Labour's democracy.

Write to the Conference Arrangements Committee to demand that they overturn this decision at appeal.
