Libertad para Juanita!
Aquí puedes mandar un correo al Fiscal de Tamaulipas Irving Barrios Mojica y otros oficiales de México exigiendo #LibertadParaJuanita
Juanita Alonzo Santizo lleva más de 7 años presa sin sentencia en Tamaulipas, México, después de que fue discriminada, torturada, interrogada en español sin intérprete. En septiembre del 2021, la Comisión de Derechos Humanos de las Naciones Unidas pidió que el gobierno de México libere a Juanita dentro de 6 meses, una solicitud a la cuál el gobierno de México todavía no ha respondido. En Abril y Mayo, el fiscal general de Tamaulipas decidirá si mantiene o desiste los cargos contra Juanita, así que tomamos la oportunidad del cumpleaños de Juanita, el 10 de Abril, para mandar mensajes apoyando a Juanita y exigiendo al fiscal que desista los cargos.

Juanita Alonzo Santizo has been detained over 7 years without a sentence in Tamaulipas, Mexico, after she was arrested, tortured, and interrogated in Spanish without an interpreter. In September 2021, the United Nations Human Rights Commission asked that the Mexican government free Juanita within 6 months, and the Mexican government has not yet responded. In April and May, the Attorney General of Tamaulipas will decide whether to drop the charges against Juanita, so we will take the opportunity of Juanita's birthday, April 10th, to send messages supporting Juanita and demanding that the Attorney General drop the charges.
