SFMTA

The SFMTA is proposing changes to the M Ocean View corridor to improve the transit experience and safety for everyone using the streets! Improvements in the final proposal include:

  • A dedicated transit lane on San Jose Avenue
  • Consolidating two less used stops on 19th Avenue into one more conveniently located stop
  • New boarding islands and transit bulbs that will protect people getting on and off the train
  • Pedestrians bulb outs at intersections to increase visibility and safety
  • More traffic signals and stop signs to make traffic safer while keeping transit moving
  • Treatments to deter sideshows where people drive donuts in the street

The project goes to the SFMTA Board on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. We could use your support!
