Patients Over Profits House
Rep. Pramila Jayapal’s and Rep. Debbie Dingell’s Medicare for All Act in the House, is the most comprehensive healthcare legislation in U.S. History, and Sen. Bernie Sanders will soon introduce a similar bill in the Senate.
Already, a record number of original cosponsors have signed on to HR 1976, and we ask you to urge your representative to join them if they haven’t already, and to thank them if they have. See the list of cosponsors here.
This legislation would guarantee the full range of medical care including: in patient, out patient, surgery, hospitalization, emergency, mental, dental, vision, hearing, medical devices, tests, supplies, pharmaceuticals, therapy, long term, rehabilitation, preventative care, and more. All with out any out-of-pocket costs. No copays, no deductibles, no fees, no costs of any kind.
Contact your elected officials—Republicans and Democrats alike. Tell them expanded and improved Medicare for all would save 100,000s of American lives and also save $trillions of tax payers' and employers' money over the next decade, leading to better health outcomes and increasing economic prosperity.
Thank you for taking action. Healthcare is a human right. It's time to make sure all Americans have the health care services and medications we need and deserve.
