Minnesota Street in the Dogpatch has been a slow street for a year, but there is more vehicle traffic than recommended. SFMTA has a positive proposal to reduce cut-through traffic. Please send a letter in support!

The proposed design includes:

1. Traffic diverting island at Minnesota Street and 19th Street
2. Zone to widen and slow down turns from eastbound 18th Street to southbound Minnesota Street
3. Painted safety zones that can also become community & art spaces
4. Traffic calming island on Minnesota Street between 20th and 22nd Streets
5. Signs and pavement markings for Slow Streets and 15mph zone
