The identity and economy of New Hampshire is tied to recreation and tourism in the outdoors. Our state parks are being threatened by landfill development which will import millions of tons of out of state trash and produce millions of gallons of leachate which can contaminate our groundwaters and rivers.  

HB177 is a simply-written, bi-partisan bill which will establish a 2-mile buffer around NH State Parks, protecting them from landfill development and proven odor, noise, groundwater and air pollution which accompany them.
