On Dec 12/22 Waterloo Regional District School Board Trustees will be voting on a motion to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism. Other, more balanced definitions of antisemitism exist but Trustees Mike Ramsay and Cindy Watson have chosen to ignore them. *If this motion passes, it will lead to the silencing of students and staff who dare to #SayPalestine.* This is in direct opposition to the Board’s mandate to provide safe climates for all students - Palestinian students have a right to learn in safety!
