Why: The Governor’s proposed budget cuts prison e-messaging, further isolating incarcerated individuals from their families. Sign up to testify and tell Ned Lamont we don’t have to balance the budget at the expense of Black and Brown inner-city families who rely on this communication to stay connected with their loved ones. Family separation takes a serious toll on mental health, and restricting contact will only create more problems in our prison system.
