Equity programs are geared towards creating an inclusive California cannabis industry and supporting individuals and communities who are linked to populations or neighborhoods, negatively or disproportionately impacted by past cannabis criminalization.

Equity applicants participating in the retail cannabis industry are challenged to meet all the requirements of the DCC in order to obtain an annual license, which include requirements to meet local licensing requirements.
