Respect Ohio Voters - Protect Issue #2 from Government Overreach
On Election Day, November 7th, Ohioans cast 2.2M votes in favor of the Control and Regulate Adult Use Cannabis Act, creating a regulatory framework around ending marijuana prohibition and creating jobs in Ohio. Voters had months to prepare to cast their vote on Issue #2, giving themselves ample time to research, debate, and make an informed decision on their ballot. Ohio voters delivered a historic victory for themselves and our economy.
However, now that the law is set to go into effect on Thursday, December 7th, political extremists are scheming to gut Issue #2's most important provisions: home grow, social equity, and a fair sales tax. These changes among others will entrench the illicit market and force Ohioans to continue to buy their cannabis products in Michigan. There is no time to waste!
