Social Security is a worker-earned benefit funded by our contributions through payroll taxes. It is Congress's duty to safeguard it for the millions of Americans who rely on it. Recent cuts to staffing are already creating hardships for seniors and people with disabilities, and discussion about further cuts or changes is forcing Hoosiers to live in fear of losing the benefits they earned and depend on.
