Your Senators will soon be voting on the Save Our Seas Act 2.0, a bill that claims to combat our ocean plastic problem but that would utterly fail to do so. This deeply flawed bill is being heavily pushed by the American Chemistry Council because it would not require any reduction in the production of new plastic pollution, among other troubling aspects. We think it should be called the "Save Our Plastics Act".
