On Monday, President Biden signed an executive order that will block thousands of families fleeing violence and persecution from being able to access asylum here in the United States. In doing so, the Biden Administration is feeding into the anti-immigrant narrative that has been sweeping Washington DC in recent months and is looking more and more like the prior administration. Taking away due process under the law and returning families to danger are not serious policy solutions, but rather are playing politics with our humanity.
