We want Rose Bruford to sign the Divest Borders Declaration, making a commitment to cut all ties with the border industry.

The border industry is, put simply, responsible for the exploitation and violation of the rights of migrating people. In solidarity with those on the frontlines resisting the hostile environment, we are demanding that Rose Bruford break ties with all companies implicated in the detention, deportation, surveillance or persecution of migrants.

Thankfully, like the fossil fuel industry, Rose Bruford has no investments in the border industry. So, all it takes is a signature to confirm that they never will, keeping our money, our tuition fees and our education out of the border industry. But this would be such a massive statement for migrant, climate + social justice. It would mean Rose Bruford are saying loud and clear that they support the safety of refugees, migrants and all those seeking asylum, not to mention the safeguarding of our future, from an industry massively contributing to and profiting from climate breakdown.
