We urge all residents and visitors of the Laurel Highlands to call on the Pennsylvania DEP to deny any expansion or additional coal infrastructure in the Donegal and Acme areas.

LCT Energy's Rustic Ridge I Underground Coal Mine has been active since 2018. Since operations began major issues such as water impacts, subsidence, and increased truck traffic have been occurring in the Donegal and Acme areas - the geographic heart of the beloved Laurel Highlands region. The proposed expansion and additional mining are located exactly where Jacobs Creek, Indian Creek, and Fourmile Run Watersheds originate. The active and proposed mining directly threatens the quality of those three critical watersheds.

Please join the impacted community and send a letter to the Pennsylvania DEP to urge them to stop this massive coal mine and protect the waters of the Laurel Highlands!
