Save Cottonwood Park in the Port!

The Port of Tacoma wants to cut down one of the last stand of trees to make way for more unnecessary container storage. This cottonwood grove is near our adopted salt marsh, qʷiqʷəlut, and is where birds, including osprey, often fly from to visit the marsh. You can learn more about his issue on our blog here, but basically more trees are better for us and the birds and the bees!

The Port of Seattle just built a park from scratch, but this one with old trees would be so much easier to create!
