Say No to Burning Toxic Firefighting Foam in New York State

We recently discovered that the Norlite incinerator in Cohoes, NY has been secretly burning firefighting foam that contains PFAS, a toxic "forever chemical." PFAS pollutes our air and drinking water, and builds up in our bodies where it's been linked to a variety of health problems including cancer, liver disease, auto immune deficiencies, and infertility. Intentionally burning PFAS and releasing it into the air is dangerous for our health and our environment! Fortunately, several state legislators have moved quickly to introduce a bill (S7880/A9952) banning the burning of firefighting foam across the state.

Your New York State Assemblymember and Senator need to know you support S7880/A9952 now to ensure speedy passage and halt the burning.
