Israel is escalating horrific attacks across the region, including now in Lebanon and Iran. We have witnessed them commit genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza for over a year and the mass displacement of people in Lebanon appears to be furthering their campaign of ethnic cleansing. These Israeli war crimes are committed with American made weapons, often tax-dollar purchased.

The US has leverage to stop this genocide and we demand that our senator use it!

Sen Sanders introduced a series of Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRDs) on Sept 25th in an effort to stop a planned $20B arms sale to Israel. This is a 'sale' in which Israel uses our tax-dollars given to them by congress as 'Foreign Military Financing' to buy weapons from US companies.  While it’s possible these bills do not get out of committee, we believe in Nov there may be a vote to discharge these resolutions from the Committee, which is a full Senate vote and we are telling our NY senators to vote in favor of it.
