The County Executive still has the budget in his hands. There is still time to tell your story about how the lack of funding of your contract has impacted your quality of life.

On May 1st the County Executive will present the budget to the county council. The council's hands are essentially tied, as they can only move monies around within the budget that is presented by the County Executive.

Please take a moment to write to the County Executive to urge full funding of the school system budget. He really responds better to positive comments, so if you can keep your message civil that will go further.

Our economy is improving. Our student population is growing. Doing no more than maintaining the status quo will not make Anne Arundel a leader in education or the state.
