Stop Irresponsible Development

The Guam-Hybrid Land Use Commission (GLUC) on Thursday could approve the plans for a $600 million mega-development that would destroy approximately half a mile of Guam's pristine northern shoreline. Vista Del Mar will impact the water supply in the area, harm the environment, endanger native animals and sea life, disrupt the iconic viewshed of the ancient landscape and cliff, and disturb the ancient burial grounds of our CHamoru ancestors.

GLUC members will decide whether to approve the request to construct  the development at a regular meeting via Zoom on Thursday, June 9 at 1:30 p.m.

How to take action:

  1. Sign Petition from Save Southern Guam here: https://chng.it/89L7qsCZrd

  2. Email your concerns to the Municipal Planning Commission at mayorlcrivera.tatuha@gmail.com and the Guam Land Use Management (GLUC) at dlmdir@land.guam.gov
