Stop misleading hybrid advertising

More and more people are making the switch to electric vehicles, to reduce emissions and save money on bills.

However, carmakers' advertising routinely acts to confuse drivers about the relative emissions of electric and hybrid vehicles, making it harder for drivers to make informed decisions.

We are writing to the UK's two advertising regulatory bodies - the Competition and Markets Authority and the Advertising Standards Authority - to call for change.
