A state judge just advanced the Bayou Bridge Pipeline forward, even though he found them guilty of trespassing. Landowners in St. Martin Parish lost their lawsuit against BBP for beginning construction on the polluting pipeline on their land without proper permits or permission. BBP did not consider its destruction of the Louisiana coast when calculating the benefits and costs to the public. Energy Transfer Partners, Bayou Bridge's parent company for the pipeline, has already caused over $100 million in damage from spills.
