Support Amending the Westwood Village Specific Plan

Los Angeles City Planning has released an updated draft ordinance to amend the Westwood Village Specific Plan. This draft will be reviewed by the City Planning Commission (CPC) on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

These amendments are desperately needed. The Specific Plan has not kept up with the rapidly evolving retail landscape and changing consumer preferences and the result is a crippling Q4 2021 vacancy rate in Westwood Village of 39.4%. The amendments will support local businesses by simplifying regulations for food uses, parking, and signage requirements.
