In Delaware, Black babies are 2-3 times more likely to die than white babies. The Momnibus Package will support improved health outcomes for Delaware's mothers and babies.

The Momnibus Package is a package of maternal healthcare related bills. These have recently been introduced and could improve health outcomes for Black mothers and babies in Delaware. A summary of what the package would do is included below:

• Remove TANF work requirements for pregnant persons and parents of children under 6 months

• Require Medicaid coverage for doula services

• Require that licensed health care professionals receive explicit and implicit bias training

• Ensure access to doula/midwife for incarcerated pregnant women and women who have given birth within the past six weeks

• Making it easier for pregnant patients with Medicaid to get an automated take home blood pressure cuff
