The Kennedy Longfellow school has been in crisis for many years, primarily due to a failed controlled choice system which has disproportionately assigned high needs scholars to that school without adequate resources. Now the Superintendent and School Committee intend to close the school and scatter the scholars. As educators and community members we must tell the school committee to do the right thing and support educators and scholars, rather than blame them!
