Santa Clara and the greater Southern Bay Area are in the midst of a severe housing shortage, displacement, and affordability crisis. To alleviate these issues, it is essential that we build significantly more well-designed and well-located homes throughout the region.

That's why the Housing Action Coalition is proud to support an innovative new project at 1601 Civic Center that would bring 108 much-needed homes to the city of Santa Clara.

Some of the project's many highlights include:

Creating affordable homes. 1601 Civic Center is a 100% affordable project rate that places an emphasis on providing housing for lower-income families (30-50% AMI levels) while also offering a diverse range of home sizes from studios to three-bedroom apartments.

Green Building Design. The project building will be 100% electric and has achieved GreenPoint Gold certification.
