DNREC is reviewing plans for a power transmission station at Fenwick Island State Park to support the Skipjack wind farm project. While the project is not without controversy, it does address the urgent need to move to renewable energy sources (wind) and away from fossil fuels. DNREC should ensure the environmental concerns of the community and all stakeholders are addressed, and approve the project.
