Support Universal Charitable Deduction

Ask Senators Ernst and Grassley to support the Charitable Act, S.566, which would incentive donors to give more to the causes they care about and strengthen Iowa's nonprofit sector.
The Charitable Act would empower millions more Iowan taxpayers to help solve those challenges by donating more to the work of charitable organizations in their communities across Iowa by allowing non-itemized charitable deductions.
Introduced by Senators Lankford (R-OK) and Coons (D-DE), the Charitable Act would empower taxpayers to give back to their communities by granting a tax incentive of roughly $4,000 for individuals/$8,000 for couples regardless of whether they claim other itemized deductions. This would incentivize giving to the work of charitable organizations in local communities, encourage taxpayers to give more to the missions they support, and effectively reduce demands on governments.
To ensure the success of this legislation, it will need the support of Senators Ernst and Grassley. Contact them today to share how this bill will positively impact your organization.
