Support Volunteers of America Delaware Valley in FY 2021

www.voadv.org

As New Jersey continues to grapple with the long-term effects of COVID-19, social service providers like Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) continue to operate on the frontlines, providing critical lifesaving services. Our mission is to transform lives, reduce recidivism and help improve the public health and safety of our communities. Our programs provide immediate, direct services to vulnerable individuals, including those experiencing homelessness, individuals returning to society from the criminal justice system, and those fighting addiction and mental health disease, are all made possible via two unique and innovative programs – Safe Return and Navigator.

As New Jersey prepares the fiscal year 2021 budget, we need YOUR help to call on Governor Murphy and the Legislature to continue to provide support for critical programs such as Safe Return and Navigator.

Now, more than ever, vulnerable individuals need access and guidance to the appropriate social services, as they are forced to deal with the dire ripple effects and crippling burdens brought upon by the pandemic in New Jersey.

We cannot ignore these individuals – we cannot leave them with nowhere to turn. Help us continue to do what we do best, providing expert care and service to others. But, more importantly, help those in our communities without a voice, those in need of a safe place to turn to in times of crisis.

Contact your state legislators and urge them to support critical funding for vulnerable and at-risk individuals.
