Take Action: Tell Home Depot & Lowe's to Remove Roundup from Their Shelves

Take action with us to safeguard public and planetary health!

As we embark upon the holidays amidst a pandemic that provides a daily reminder of the importance of public health measures, we are calling on Lowe's and Home Depot to protect their consumers health and remove Roundup®, a weed killer made with cancer-causing glyphosate, from their shelves.

Send a letter to Home Depot and Lowe's demanding they reject Roundup® and remove it from their shelves.

After you send this letter, there are more ways to engage! See below for ideas.

1. Create a sign!

Write why you are calling for Lowe's and Home Depot to remove Roundup® on a sign, and take a picture in front of a Home Depot or Lowe's Store (social distanced and with a mask of course), in your yard, or in a local park with your sign. Post it to social media with the hashtag #RejectRoundup.

2. Tweet about it!

Hey @Lowes and @HomeDepot: Get roundup off our shelves, off our lawns and out of our bodies! #RejectRoundup

3. Learn more about the harmful impacts of Glyphosate!

Glyphosate exposure has been linked to an increased risk of cancer. In 2018, Monsanto/Bayer was ordered by a judge to pay $78 million to Dewayne Lee Johnson, who developed non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma during his work spraying Roundup® as a school groundskeeper. There are over 100,000 similar court cases pending.

Yet, glyphosate is still on store shelves! Right now, Roundup® can be found in Lowe’s and Home Depot garden centers. Lowe’s and Home Depot can play a vital role in ending the use of this toxic weedkiller, but the companies won’t do it unless they hear from you.

Take Action: Ask Lowe’s and Home Depot to remove cancer-causing Roundup® from store shelves to protect people and the planet!
