Assembly Bill 1400, the California Guaranteed Health Care for All Act (CalCare) would guarantee comprehensive, high-quality health care to all California residents as a human right.

Hearing, vision, dental and long-term care, even alternative treatments like acupuncture and chiropractic would all be guaranteed for life regardless of age, employment status, income, race, immigration or marital status, sexual orientation or pre-existing conditions— with free choice of doctor, hospital or clinic.
