On December 7, Austin City Council will vote on housing reforms designed to create more affordable starter homes, protect the environment, and create more walkable neighborhoods!

These reforms are part of Council Member Pool's HOME initiative and include:

• Allowing up to 3 homes on single-family lots, and up to 4 homes if an existing home is preserved

• Removing unrelated family occupancy limits that prevent more than 4 unrelated adults from living together

• Making it easier to build tiny homes
